Velocity Trade

Velocity Trade is an institutional-grade multi-asset trading and execution firm established in 2007, originally seeded by two global banks. The firm serves hedge funds, financial institutions, broker-dealers, and corporations with execution across FX, equities, fixed income, CFDs, futures, and options across 40+ global markets. Regulated by ASIC, CIRO, and the FCA, Velocity Trade also offers bespoke white-label trading platforms for wealth managers and broker-dealers.

Challenge

A firm of this calibre needed a digital presence that communicated institutional credibility to a financially sophisticated audience. The site had to convey regulatory standing, the breadth of the product offering, and the quality of execution infrastructure — without sacrificing clarity. Performance and uptime were non-negotiable: institutional clients evaluating a trading partner scrutinise every detail, including the quality of the web presence.

What We Built

We built the Velocity Trade platform on Drupal, delivering a high-performance institutional website with the development rigour the financial services sector demands.

Frontend development — a clean, authoritative design reflecting the firm’s institutional positioning. Clear information hierarchy presenting asset classes, regulatory credentials, and client segments without clutter. Typography and layout calibrated for a professional audience reading detailed service descriptions.

Backend development — custom Drupal content architecture for product pages, regulatory disclosures, market commentary, and team profiles. Structured for compliance — legal and regulatory content could be updated accurately and independently by the firm’s internal team.

Responsive design — consistent, professional rendering across desktop and mobile, accounting for institutional clients accessing the site from trading floors, offices, and mobile devices across multiple time zones.

DevOps — server configuration and deployment pipeline designed for the high-availability expectations of a financial services firm. Monitoring and rapid-response deployment processes to minimise any downtime.

QA — rigorous cross-browser and cross-device testing, plus content accuracy review across all regulated market disclosures and legal footnotes.

Result

Velocity Trade launched with a digital presence that matched the quality of the firm’s execution infrastructure — authoritative, well-structured, and reliable. The Drupal platform gave the internal team the control they needed to maintain regulatory disclosures and market content independently, in a sector where accuracy and timeliness of published information directly reflects on the firm’s credibility.
