Technologies
Mojo Homes is an Australian residential home builder launched in 2014, backed by the NEX Building Group and MJH Group — together bringing over 35 years of building experience. Operating across Sydney, the Central Coast, Newcastle, the Illawarra, and the South Coast of NSW, Mojo targets first-home buyers and families seeking high-specification new builds at accessible price points. Their website is the primary sales channel, where prospects browse designs, find house-and-land packages, and begin the purchase journey.
Challenge
Home building is a high-consideration purchase with a long sales cycle. Mojo needed a website that carried prospects through the full discovery process — from initial design browsing through land matching and enquiry — while remaining manageable by a non-technical marketing team updating listings and promotions regularly.
What We Built
We built the Mojo Homes platform on Drupal 7 with custom PHP development to handle the complexity of a live property catalogue and design library.
House design catalogue — structured content types for single-storey, double-storey, acreage, duplex, and narrow-block designs with filtering by bedroom count, lot width, and region. The marketing team manages the full catalogue without code changes.
House-and-land packages — dynamic package pages linking home designs to available land lots across all regions, with real-time availability managed through the CMS.
API development and integration — integrations with land databases and CRM systems to route enquiries directly into the sales team’s workflow, eliminating manual data transfer between the website and sales operations.
Responsive design — a mobile-optimised experience for prospective buyers browsing on phones during display home visits and open inspections.
QA — cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent performance for a broad consumer audience across all supported regions.
Result
The Mojo Homes platform became the engine of their sales funnel — handling design discovery, regional filtering, and lead capture for thousands of prospective buyers across NSW. The CMS gave the marketing team full control over a complex, constantly-updated catalogue without requiring developer time for routine changes.
